Mobility coaching in Ballajura that frees up stiff joints
Stiff hips, a locked-up back, shoulders that will not reach overhead. Jen Adams is a mobility coach in Ballajura, Perth who finds what is actually restricted and wins that movement back, for good.
Is this you?
Signs your mobility is holding you back
- You feel stiff every morning, and it takes longer to loosen up than it used to
- You stretch regularly but the tightness always comes back
- Squatting, kneeling or getting off the floor feels awkward or uncomfortable
- Your shoulders, hips or ankles feel blocked rather than just tight
- You have been told to "just stretch more" and it is not working
Why stretching alone is not fixing it
Most tightness is not a short muscle. It is your nervous system putting the brakes on a joint it does not trust. Stretch it and it feels better for an hour, then the brakes come straight back on.
Mobility coaching at Hell's Bells Fitness works differently. The movement assessment identifies which joints are genuinely restricted and why the body is guarding them. Then mobility work is paired with stability and strength in the new range, so your body learns it is safe to move there. That is the difference between flexibility you borrow and mobility you own.
This assess-first approach is the same foundation Jen uses for movement restoration and injury rehabilitation, refined over 42+ years of coaching in Perth.
What is included
What mobility training with Jen looks like
Joint-by-joint assessment
A detailed look at how each joint moves: ankles, hips, spine, shoulders and neck, so the work targets the real restriction.
Targeted mobility drills
Specific drills for the joints that need them, not a generic 20-minute stretch routine copied from the internet.
Stability in the new range
Strength and control work in your new range of motion, so the gains hold between sessions instead of vanishing.
A short daily routine
A realistic 10-minute routine to do at home, built for your body, so progress continues on the days you are not in the studio.

Mobility training FAQs
What is the difference between mobility and flexibility?
Flexibility is how far a muscle can passively lengthen. Mobility is how much of that range you can actually control with strength and stability. Jen trains both, because range you cannot control is range your body will not let you use.
I stretch every day but I am still tight. Why?
Tightness is often the nervous system protecting a joint that lacks stability, not a short muscle. Stretching alone rarely fixes that. The assessment finds why the body is guarding, then mobility work is paired with stability and strength so the new range holds.
How long before I notice a difference?
Most clients feel a difference within the first few sessions, because the work targets the joints that are actually restricted rather than stretching everything and hoping. Lasting change in daily movement typically builds over 6 to 12 weeks of consistent training.
